BEET SALAD

This little beet salad is a jewel because it is so quick to make and, if you like beets, it is quite a treat for the tastebuds, too. I absolutely LOVE it! Only 5 ingredients, plus salt & pepper and you have a super quick snack, or side dish.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR BEET SALAD

This one is so easy it is a no brainer! As always, though, if you like more, or less of something, make it how you like it. If you love onions…add more, etc…

GROCERY LIST

Sliced pickled beets in the jar

Fresh cilantro

Red onion

Balsamic vinegar

Extra virgin olive oil – EVOO

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

LOADED CHICKEN would be great with this beet salad on the side.

BUTTERY HERBED STEAK BITES would also make a good pairing.

PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE is always a good idea.

You’ll use a mixing bowl to combine and toss this mixture.

This is the most awesome pepper grinder in the entire universe!!! It is seriously heavy duty.

A sharp knife will come in handy for chopping.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Sharp knife
  • Pepper grinder

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce Jar pickled beets drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tablespoon Cilantro finley chopped,or to taste
  • 1/8 Red onion thinly sliced into half moons and then in half
  • 1 Tablespoon EVOO
  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix really, really well. Ta-da! It's really that quick and simple.
  • Enjoy, friends.
